VILLA AMELIA

In a privileged setting in A Coruña, Marte Park, we are commissioned to carry out the comprehensive rehabilitation project of one of the terraced houses built in 1930 and designed by Eduardo Rodríguez-Losada Rebellón. These homes open onto the greenery of their own plot and the park itself.

The aim of the project is to respect the original design as much as possible, creating a new way of inhabiting that double-height space with thick stone walls.

In a large, open-plan daytime space, we create a small, separate sleeping refuge, raised and protected, with an open view of the trees in Marte Park.
